MEET JOKA

After visiting Oregon's Willamette Valley in the Spring of 2016, we fell in love with the area, and especially Carlton, home of The Carlton Inn Bed & Breakfast. In early December of that same year, we arrived, and were greeted, and welcomed by "a great little town" blanketed in snow. Maggie (our little Bichon) and I became the happy new owners of this beautiful and cozy old saltbox style home.

Born, raised, and educated in the Netherlands where as a very young girl I vacationed in a tiny country hotel, but preferred helping out with the guests; the Dream of hospitality was born, and now finally realized.

The many skills and experiences required with love and passion from managing retail, restaurant to owning a small flower shop, events and Alzheimer patient care now coming together in harmony and excited to welcome you with open arms as friends and family, making you feel at home at The Carlton Inn, and look forward to treating you like royalty!

All the Amenities You Need for An Unforgettable Stay

We hope that we have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Each private bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer; razors, and tooth paste available on request; and floss, cotton balls, and Q-tips are located in counter containers. Our signature lemongrass/sage shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are in convenient pump bottles. There is a DVD collection for watching in the TV area or enjoy in the privacy of your room with your laptop. Tired of electronics? Browse through the bookcases for finger turning pages, or for those competitive spirits, bring out the board/card games for some old fashioned fun.
